La vie est parfois difficile à cerner, on ne comprend pas toujours. On ne comprend pas comment des artistes talentueux comme Nina Nastasia restent dans l'ombre. Pourtant cette femme est l'incarnation même de la poésie.
Adorée par John Peel et adulée par Steve Albini, son producteur atitré, Nina Nastasia n'a jamais eu le moindre succès.
Après 5 albums, le charme opère toujours autant. Elle est une songwriter de talent. Sa musique délicate accompagne des paroles tellement belles qu'on n'en croit pas nos oreilles.
Accompagné d'une guitare acoustique, les arrangements sont discrets et raffinés, afin de ne pas envahir de superflu tant de beauté. De toute beauté, même si souvent ses morceaux se retrouvent enveloppés de noirceur.
